Today I thought I’d give you an idea of what I use all those printables for and give you a quick little planner tour. This is the A5 Patent Leather Original Filofax in Fuchsia. I had been using a Martha Stewart Discbound planner but it was a little too big for my liking and I was having trouble with the rings getting too full so I switched to a Filofax in early December and I’m absolutely loving it. The A5 size is big enough to write in comfortably but still small enough that I can carry it in my purse if needed.
The only issue I’ve had (and this is incredibly minor for me) is that getting A5 sized paper in the US is damn near impossible so I use half letter size paper instead. The dimensions are slightly off – half letter is slightly taller and narrower than A5 – but it’s not really a noticeable difference to me and I can easily go buy a ream of any kind of letter sized paper I want at Staples and have them cut it in half for me.
As you’ll see in the video, I use this as both a personal and blog planner and so far haven’t had any of the problems with running out of space that I was having with my discbound planner. I might be slightly more selective about what I put in here though.
So, without further ado, I present to you: What’s in My Filofax (Jan 2015 Edition).
If anyone has any questions about anything I showed in the video, please leave me a comment and I’ll be happy to explain/tell you where I got it/post a tutorial/etc.
